OHN- Cinnamon slimy
I am making OHN for the first time. Everything seems to be going well and I am in my first week of stirring everyday after mixing with vodka. My cinnamon jar always comes out with a bit of slime or what looks like clear snot on the end of the wooden spoon I am stirring. Is this anything to be concerned about? Thanks for your help!

The slime is just a part of cinnamon bark and alcohol. It is a pain, but once your own is done, it will dissolve into the entire volume just fine.

The clear snot is likely a bacterial growth that is definitely not supposed to be in your cinnamon and vodka. I think it might be related to the type of sugar you used, did you use brown or light brown sugar, or did you use refined white sugar? Also did you keep your implements and bottles clean when making the inputs from start to finish?
