Making seawater with the app dilutions
I bought the app and have a question about making seawater. So if i make a 40 gallon batch it's telling me ~6000mls of SEA. If I dont have access to seawater and have to create it from sea salt, would I just take the amount of liters, 6 in this case, and multiply it by 35gs? So 6 x 35 = 210gs of salt?

To make seawater at home, add 35 grams of salt to a beaker, and then add tap water until the total mass is 1,000 grams, stirring until the salt is completely dissolved in the water.

Remember 3 is the magic number - the ocean is a avg of 3% salinity - to make a brine of 3% u add 33g of sea salt to 1qt of water this also makes a great pickling brine to pickle just about any thing

This was an area of confusion for me as well. I asked a similar question here once and Drake replied, instructing me to mix up the rest of your solution, and then basically add 1 gram of salt for every liter of solution. Apparently that makes for a pretty accurate replication.
